Verizon Wireless in Arlington, Virginia - Rubbish Service and even worst customer service

Please if you know what is good for you do not enroll in anything Verizon. They are quick to take your money but are never available to answer your concern. Comcast or ATT is way better I should have known. Rubbish company.

Retired and shutting down most of the Verizon wireless services. Spent an hour yesterday getting them to shut down most of my business services. They finally agreed to do it and sent me an email showing that in truth, nothing had changed and no services had been shut...

Verizon Wireless in Norton, Virginia - Too many spam calls!

4.1
Details
What is up Verizon wireless!? I keep getting spam calls, block them and they just call from another number. These calls come from other wireless numbers and if you call back the other wireless customer has not called you but has been getting spam calls as well! *** my own number called me yesterday! This needs to be dealt with or I will be switching wireless providers!

This is happening on every carrier nation wide, I had at&t and switched to Verizon but they kept coming. ended changing my number completely and it solved the issue.

the problem comes from giving businesses your phone number when you sign up for anything online, computer data miners then retrieve your cell phone number form the website data bases and sell your number to these scammers.

It's a national possibly world wide epidemic and the people responsible should be put in prison for life. I can only imagine the billions of dollars they've scammed people out of and no one has been held responsible or brought to justice.

Verizon Wireless - Customer Care Review from Bedford, Virginia

After being overcharged and turned over to collections I researched and found literally infinite similar complaints in the news media and on Verizon's own website! Thousands of customers complained of overcharged and poor customer service. A careful review of these complaints on various websites including Verizon's own reveals that it is not poor customer service but Verizon's practice of racketeering.

Verizon Wireless in Burke, Virginia - Promises not fulfilled.

2.4
Details
The Verizon representative offered great rebates if I would switch 2 lines from AT&T and purchase 2 new smart phones. She said the rebates would likely take 90 days to hit the account, no problem. Now it is 7 months later, no rebates and I have wasted hours on the phone with them. Apparently, the Verizon sales people can promise you anything (commission?) because the rebates are not documented. The customer service representatives offer to call me back (never happens) or ask me to send them information and I never heard back from them. Very poor way to do business. I guess I am going back to AT&T.

Verizon Wireless in Ashburn, Virginia - What about the truth?

I have called Verizon Wireless at least a dozen times in the last 2 months. In all those calls I was lied to at least once. My favorites are: It's your phone. What if we give you a free phone? What will my monthly line charge be? $40. It was $15 so $25 X 24 months = $600. Don't sound free to me. I'll call you back. Well we know that never happens. You've reached the highest level of tech support. Turn your phone off and on. Remove the battery, wait a minute and reinstall it. Delete some memory, it will be better in the morning. I'll send you instructions to restore it to factory configuration. Naturally it was a dead link. OK, what can I do to increase the rf sensitivity of my phone? Huh? You're not really a technician, you are reading of a piece of paper. Pathetic. I asked them to reprogram the phone for another 10db of gain. Huh? They not only don't have technicians but they don't even comprehend basic electronics. Between not calling back when promised, trying to sell me a $600 free phone and promising it will be better in the morning. By the way they claim the Samsung Note 3 I have had for 22 months is "top of the line". It couldn't catch a signal with a butterfly net.

Verizon Wireless in Midlothian, Virginia - Forcing unlimited data users out of the market by raising prices

1.0
Details
I have not had a phone upgrade because of my unlimited data as it's more important to keep that than to get a new phone at that price. It goes without saying how wrong this is to force unlimited data users out of the market by raising prices $20. ANOTHER THING! I have auto-pay on my account and I do not look at my bill as it shouldn't change with my plan of course. I notice my bill going up and finally checked into it. They never notified me to tell me about the hike in pricing. They put it on a bill that I obviously do not check if I'm on auto-pay. Verizon, did you not have my cell phone number? Like really????? Verizon, you suck.

They did notify you. It's on the bill, you can view online. Also you used the data you agreed to the new price.

Verizon Wireless in Reston, Virginia - Verizon should be Sued for their sloppy Return phone policy!!

I went through the same thing last Christmas returning a phone that "never arrived" It seems that this problem is reocurring and that Verizon refuses to come up with a better solution like informing the consumer to take the package to USPS, insure it and ask for a receipt when it arrives like you would any other package. They instruct you but neglect to disclose that, should the phone be lost or stolen, most likely by them, that the consumer will be fully liable. I was charged $650 for the phone I returned. This needs to be a class action law suit! Anyone want to take on Verizon??....Like everyone else, I spent numerous hours on this. Time is money. I want my money back with damages!

"Like you would any other package", then why so didn't you do the same thing for this one???! It's lazy ignorant people like you that make verizon seem like it sucks. It's honestly just the customers.

@Ap151

What this person is saying is verizon told them they would be liable if the package got lost or stolen. Read the whole thing before being an ***.

Verizon can't be your mom and dad, they shouldn't have to tell you to take it to the post office, don't be a ***.

Verizon Wireless in Alexandria, Virginia - Untrustworthy and Deceitful

1.4
Details
After giving me a specific rate for a year the corporation informed me that I had to prove I still work for the same organization I did when I started using Verizon, the corporation required that I provide personal information. I decided not o share such information with them and they raised my rate. After that I changed to a different server, but when contacting Verizon headquarters to have my cell phone numbers transferred to the new server Verizon refused to cooperate. The corporation's representative went so far to say, "I'm sorry but I cannot transfer your numbers because my computer is acting crazy today". Someone at one of the management levels obviously told representatives not to transfer numbers of existing customers. This corporation must be run by some of the most greedy persons in the cell phone industry.
