I live in Felton, CA which is 6 miles up into the Santa Cruz Mountains from Santa Cruz. I use Verizonwireless for my cell phone service and internet service provider.
I pay well over $100/month for this service. The cell phone service is not bad. The internet, however is a real waste of money. I can not view any kind of video for more than 3 seconds before it stops dead and goes into an infinite buffering state.
Some websites do not even load completely.
It really is as bad as a 19.9 kb/s dial-up modem. I understand every business must make a profit, but to oversell a service to the point where no one can use it is a ripoff of the consumer.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $1000.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
