Two weeks ago I accidentally dropped my Razr and shattered the outside screen. I went to Verizon in Petoskey, Michigan and requested that they switch my service to my backup Razr.

They asked if it was an Alltel phone, and when I answered yes, they said they couldn't switch the service. They said they no longer serviced Alltel phones. So much for customer service! I had to purchase another $169 phone and a new 2 year contract.

They indicated my monthly charge wouldn't change, but who would ever trust them to that promise. Anybody dealing with these jerks needs their head examined.
