Verizon Wireless in Fort Collins, Colorado - Bad customer service

Bought a new phone, the rep told me to take it home and set it up. I followed direction but could not get it to activate. Drove all the way back 2 days later( 30 miles) was told it wasn’t my fault, he forgot to change something! Then my emails didn’t transfer, drove back again! Was told to call customer service by a snarky young man. Was on hold half hour. Finally walked back in store and demanded help from a nice young gal. The fix was as simple as reentering my password! I’m to old for this type of serve Verizon!

Asurion - Verizon Wireless

I have been attempting to file a claim online and over the phone for TWO days. The site DOES NOT work and the number you call sends you into a loop of automatic options. Absolutely ridiculous. For Verizon to be a billion dollar company you would think their customer support would be on point and efficient. *** poor, not only do they overcharge for cell service AND their phones their customer service is garbage. Once our contract is up we will be switching and encouraging others to do as well.

I entered into a contract with Verizon at the 12915 Ventura Blvd., Studio City, CA 91604 store. The representative, Kevin Melody, told me that for $199.99, I could have protection on my Smart phone in case of damage without a deductible with Protect Cell Complete. When I tried to use it, I found out the representative lied. Now I have been told that if I want a replacement, I have to pay for the damaged Smart phone, the fee for ending my contract early, and a new Smart phone. I have called customer service many times and none of them have enough pride in their corporation to even apologize for the representative. All of them were outright dismissive. This Verizon store in Studio City is out of business, but the bad memories linger on.

Less than 2 months after upgrading our LG2 phones to the new LG4 at Verizon, my wife's phone died. Although we purchased covers and screen protectors for both at the time at the verizon store, paid way too much as I found out later, when her new replacement phone came in, the sales rep at the store said she could not get the old one off and had none in stock. Over 1 month later of stories I contacted Verizon directly and spent over 1 hour in chat sessions with a C.S.R. who steadfastly refused to replace it although as I told him, it was not our fault the phone died. With a cell phone bill of nearly $300/mo. he could have cared less. When I told him as soon as our contract expired we would look into another carrier, he could have cared less. When I told him I was going to a consumer complaint web site for Verizon, he could have cared less. My wife and I have been in constant contact with the store we purchased the phone from and every week it's the same old #$%^^&&. Since searching online, I have seen the exact screen protector for 70% less than we paid at the Verizon store. If a multi billion dollar company cannot replace a lousy cheapo screen protector to keep a customer satisfied then I guess they should not be surprised when people like us complain and find another provider.

I worked with a telesales person for verizon his name is Justin Byrn and number is 916-297-3521. I purchased the pre-paid jetpack with 2 months 2 Gig plan. I received the jetpack before christmas holidays and when powered it on it would say no service available every 4-6 hours and I would have to reboot the jetpack. I called Justin immediately and he got a specialist on the line, told me I can exchange the jetpack from a Verizon store. When I went to the Verizon store they had no jetpacks in stock at any store in the area. I tried calling back and Justin did not anwser my calls or return my voicemails. The jet pack after the third day doesnt work at all anymore. It is now after new years holiday I tried calling verizon and they cannot send me a jet pack replacement for some bizarre reason, they actually hung up on me. Worst service and support I have ever seen in my lifetime. I am at a point were I am going to dispute the credit card charges now. the 2 Gig i bought cannot be used without a jetpack and since it doesnt work I am screwed. Never going to buy Verizon again!

Phone had issue where lock up not receive messages so had insurance took verizom store there like no we wont be able replace your phone, know three years later bill $600.00 Called sprint try reactivate phone there like nope $600 upfront no payment no dice thats last time deal sprint, verizon they will never ever do business get red penny from me ever!!!!.

Verizon is trying to extort $300 from me. I had issues with my phone not sending or receiving text messages so brought it to a store. They examined the phone and said everything seemed ok but they would overnight me a new one. All I had to do was send the old one back. A month later they want $300 stating the phone had rust in the charging port. Of course there wasn't. Their ratings are at an all-time low and going lower. I will be switching to AT&T next week and taking several people with me. Cheaper plans, more gigs and better customer service. Very disappointed after 15 years I was loyal but customer loyalty no longer exists with Verizon.

You might want to re-think AT&T.Verizon wins hands down.Know one I know of is pleased with their AT&T phone.It's your choice but you are in for a Rude Awaking with AT&T.Bad service.

After a being a loyal customer FOREVER, with the whole family being on two-year contracts time and again, I am going to switch carriers. In the summer a son called for a replacement phone, and, of course, I had been paying insurance. A replacement arrives that does not work. They send another replacement. We go to Verizon and get a LIFE PROOF box for the new phone. In July I return both phones in the same box, and we leave on vacation. While on vacation I am getting text messages saying I need to return the phones. I message back saying the phones were already returned & figure they simply have not processed the return yet. Meanwhile, the "LIFE PROOF" box gets just enough moisture inside to mess up the new phone. I text the sales rep who had been very helpful in store while I was spending hundreds of dollars buying their products, and getting myself a new phone...but now he does not respond back. Upon return I am told that Verizon doesn't insure the so called life proof box, and I have to go through the company. So now, their messed up product, and the phone is now all my problem. Meanwhile, the dispute over the returned phones continues. The post office says phones get picked up, then Verizon tells customers the phones were never sent. I am in a Catch-22, and Verizon is trying to extort money for the 2 phones I have sent back. Close to $1,000!!!!! Mind you, that includes being charged for the phone that they sent, that never worked in the first place. After months of talking with them, they have now set our phones so that we cannot text nor call out, until I pay. I told them I am not paying them a penny, and they are threatening to cut off all service. I talked to "Customer Service" AGAIN this week and asked what had happened on my claim, since I had recently filed one. They said it looked like no one had gotten to it yet. I asked to speak with her "boss" and I was told that he was in a meeting. I said I wanted him to call me, and was assured he would. That was Monday, and still no word back from anyone. They are screaming for me to switch carriers, so I gladly will.

Verizon Wireless in Concord, New Hampshire - Poor assistance for replacing stolen Samsung Galaxy S4 phone

We spoke with customer service person about buying a refurbished/ CPO phone - we were quoted a price of $499; when asked what would be the cost of a new one, to our disbelief the same amount was quoted again; we are Verizon customers for many years and what we heard was just outrageous; needless to say, our son went to e-bay to purchase a phone. This experience does not speak well for the company which should have an option to assist people whose phones are stolen or lost; charging the same amount for refurbished / CPO as for new one is just criminal.
