Verizon Wireless - Verizon falsely charging me $364 for damaged phone

Wow. Just had similar thing happen to me. I sent Verizon my iphone6 after receiving a replacement phone and got charged $300 damaged fee. Prior to sending it in, I had gone to the Apple Store twice in hopes that they could fix it but it was a software issue (code4013) that they could not fix. The phone itself looked brand new because I had kept it in a life proof case from day one but it was stuck in recovery mode so we weren't able to turn it on or reset it. A month after sending it back to Verizon I got charged $364 for a "damaged fee" claiming that my iPhone was cracked from top to bottom. My phone was in perfect condition, not a single scratch on it due to being in the lifeproof case and I know it didn't happen during shipping bc I sent it back in the sealed, protected box Verizon has sent me. The rep said the box was in perfect condition but the phone itself was now damaged and that it's my word against theirs. I've been a loyal costomer for 10 years now and have never been late on a payment and this is the treatment I get? The supervisor I spoke to yesterday was not helpful at all and the whole situation has been so frustrating, disappointing, and extremely unprofessional on their behalf. I'm not in contract, due to their customer service I'm thinking about switching carriers. Now that I've been reading on the forums that this has happened multiple customers it's left me disgusted with the company. I used to brag about Verizon and even had my parents switch to become Verizon customers. Now I'll be sure to let everyone know how they really are.

Verizon Wireless - Verizon steals money out of your pocket

I have been with Verizon for years. Went to get a new phone because I shattered my screen. I am not on a contract as they don't have them anymore. I picked out a new phone and case and went to pay for them and they said that I also had to pay 20.00 to turn the new phone on. Hmmmm?? It is the same phone. why would they charge me to stay with their service? They aren't changing my plan or anything. So I told the guy forget it I would go to AT&T. He said okay. They lost a loyal customer spending around 200.00 plus the monthly service over their new 20.00 charge to do nothing. So I cancelled my service and ported the number over to AT&T. Verizon still charged me for the full month of service that they were not giving me service. I spoke with them and they said that it is in their contract that if they port a number you still have to pay for your full month. Even if it is only one day into that billing cycle. Nice way to stick your hand in someones pocket to steal money Verizon. I will NEVER come back. I will do without a cell phone before I ever pay you another dime.
