I comported my telephone number on August 9, 2012. On September 11, 2012 I received an e-mail notice that I have a bill due.
I went to check it and could not get in as I am no longer a customer. I have been trying to reach customer service for a month. Nothing. I finally go to the Verizon store and get a telephone number that will not hang up on me and spoke to someone about the bill.
They told me that because my number had not been comported by the 5th of August I must pay the bill through the end of the billing cycle which is September 4th.
So for 5 days of service I must pay a whole month instead of them just prorating my bill which would be the ethical thing to do. I will never go back to Verizon for any type of service.
