I setup new line of service with Verizon Wireless over the phone. I've been with them since they were Air Touch, I knew exactly what I wanted and I told the Verizon rep what plan we wanted.

The Verizon rep told me and my girlfriend how it was setup, but didn't actually set it up that way. So we get a bill with $50 in texting charges. I called and asked for charge to be removed, and Verizon said too bad we sent you a text about it (which wasn't seen). Cancelled line, will never have another Verizon phone.

Bottom line: they don't care it was the reps mistake. (They were willing to submit a complaint, but not remove the charges).

And they charged us a setup fee too! Unbelievable.

Monetary Loss: $75.
