I AM NOT ABLE TO SUBMIT A CLAIM WITH UPS AS ADVISED BY RECOVERY to help with my dispute. THE SHIPPER AND RECEIVER OF RECORD ARE ON THE LABEL as Verizon, obviously as it was provided by Verizon and Verizon employees should know that seems you are avoiding responsibilities and ruining my life Its not in my name.

UPS says its up to Verizon. (See receipts as attachments)

I had Verizon as cell provider for 8 years. Tried to upgrade to most expensive phone I ever bought online during pandemic (an iPhone pro max 12.) Received a defective phone by FedEx a day after ordering. Paying upfront for upgrade fee, taxes, glass, case and charger.

Took weeks and going to corporate headquarters twice to figure out it was defective, as advised by tech at corporate Verizon(an hour drive for me).

Verizon advice was wait for replacement phone with box and return labels and meanwhile use old phone (operator helped turn old phone back on) replacement phone was sent by USPS and got returned to your warehouse by USPS for no reason I never saw or touched that phone. I advised Verizon Id had it and was switching to a new carrier. I called multiple operators to make sure I quit, ended automatic payments etc and ported my number and owed nothing but was actually owed by Verizon for the upgrade fee, taxes, glass, case and charger that I returned. Instead of honoring my wishes Verizon sent ANOTHER phone by FedEx and it arrived in a day.

I returned both the original defective phone, the second one sent FedEx, after I quit, and all the above mentioned items, as requested using a label from Verizon. Oddly Verizon insisted I return one phone by UPS and one by FedEx. I kept the receipts I just learned this morning from Verizon (after at least 100 calls) that the phone sent through UPS was not received and thats why Verizon claims I owe so much and sent me to collections and ruined my credit dropping it by 50 points!!SadI have been harassed by collections agencies even after telling them to stop and just mail me as I do not owe Verizon they owe me!! (Which is illegal) I do plan to write to the credit bureaus to dispute this.

And the Attorney general and all other appropriate agencies and have faced I may need to do a small claims lawsuit against Verizon and this letter is to initiate that too.

Id prefer to resolve this quickly without a lawsuit but am prepared for that possibility.

I look forward to Verizons anticipated cooperation in finally making good with me and resolving this. Thanks

User's recommendation: Stay away from Verizon and A T & T. They did the same thing to me long ago.

Monetary Loss: $113.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
