NO SERVICE FOR 2+ WEEKS AND COUNTING!!My elderly parents who live in NJ have not had phone service on their landline for over 2 weeks. They have an open ticket but nothing has been done to correct the problem.

Previously, Verizon FIOS informed them the issue is an outside problem not in their house, but that nothing can be done to fix the problem and that they should just lump it.

My parents are in their 80's. They have no way to call for medical help, if needed without their landline. Calls to Verizon fall on deaf ears and there is no email method to contact them.

Their 1800 number is a useless daisy chain of computerized commentary. I say stick with AT&T, they are a most helpful company and you get a real person when you call with a problem or question.

Monetary Loss: $1000.
