Verizon Wireless - Rip-off rotten customer service
I have been a long time Verizon customer. I am supposedly "grandfarthered" in an old plan.
The plan proviides 700 minutes per month. In the past, my wife and I normally use less than 200 minutes. My wife is 72 years old and was recently hospitalized for 29 days. She was then moved to rehab facility.
The facility has been locked down due to COVID 19. She has been there for 24 days. We are burning through are 700.minutes. I contacted Verizon to buy additional minutes.
I was told NO. All minutes over 700 will be billed at .45 per minute. They were not willing to help. All they wanted to do to "upgrade" to a much more expensive plan.
I would change carriers, However, I can't ge her phone or teach her to use a new phone. If she ever gets well, I will change carriers. Verizon is a rotten company!
Because of her illness. we are burning through mintes.
User's recommendation: Do not use Verizon.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Verizon Wireless Cons: Not a socially responsible company.
