Bought a zte phone they tried to hook up

They keep putting wrong charges on our account then saying they will credit us but we must pay first! You have to chat online forever bc you can never actually get someone on the phone. We are angry!

New iPhones came 3 weeks late for Christmas. Then we were suppose to have free trade ins and they billed us!! Then my very tired husband has to spend his evening online chatting with these idiots bc they said we have to pay and it will be credited in TWO billing cycles! Total BS. Weve had their service forever and I think its time to look around!!! We should be able to call on the phone and have this taken care of immediately!! Horrible customer service!!

Advertised free phone on upgrade and didn't deliver

They advertised but when we went to their store in Valencia three times. First, they were closed on a day they were supposed to be open. Then they told us we needed an appointment. So we got an appointment. Then they told us we needed to go to an Apple store.

User's recommendation: If you want Verizon, buy your phones elsewhere - online or another store.

Misinformation regarding registering as a teacher and receiving a discount.

My husband and I set up automatic pay for our Verizon account. We were told we would get a $20 a month which did show up. She also told us we could get a $25 a month saving by registering my teacher ID#. I got my ID after several calls to Sacramento. I got my ID# and called for help with a Verizon rep on the phone. I was told if I registered my Teacher ID I would lose the $40 discount I was getting as a loyal customer. Needless to say I am not happy with the conflicting information from Verizon and the waste of time.

Can't reach human

Need to know details of credit card on file, maybe have to change it. Went to Chat who transferred me to supposedly better chat, but they couldn't help either. Really?? How hard is it to talk about auto payment plan????????????? Need a human. Dialed maybe 12 CS numbers. Got recording every time. Need a human!!!!! :(

Talk to a human about our service plan for one of the three accounts we have with them.

Because there should be a customer service person that you should be able to speak with and not a app

Today i went into a Verizon store, and paid my phones off . I wanted to disconnect my son phone and they gave me a number to call. So I called the number to speak with a customer service technician, but that didnt occur. The service kept sending me codes to enter and when I did enter the code no one came on the service hang up on me. I spent 30 mins trying to reach someone.

Difficulty communicating with overseas Cust Svc.

I recently received a replacement phone from Asurion, the insurance company Verizon Wireless uses for claims. The main problem I have is trying to communicate with overseas Customer Service folks. They must read scripted answers and solutions out of a binder. I generally always ask to be transferred to a US based Cust Svc person. For the simple fact that I have a hard time understanding foreign folks when trying to troubleshoot electronics. Super annoying.

Your watch must be a gps model and not a cellular model. Check with Verizon. They probably only accept the cellular models.

Poor customer on service

Verizon was very good, I realize COVID has created challenges but the last 4 times I have communicated with them I either couldn't get the question answered or my wait time was almost an hour long so I gave up., Very disappointed.

Sold a watch that was inferior to the one I had and they will not exchange.

Went to corporate store to get new phones for wife and me. Said they had deal on watches. I explained my Apple Watch had saved my life with ECG app. We were sold SE watches in Oct. I have been back to store many times since and no one seemed to know why I could not get ECG. Finally this week talked to tech at Apple and he said that watch cant have that app. They said they would gladly exchange if I bought at Apple. Went back to Verizon store no exchange, past 30 days. Now all seem to know limitations of the SE watch. I want Verizon to authorize an exchange. Been customer for 20 + years.

No customer service

Tried to activate a phone, prompted to call the 800 number provided by the new phone, Tried four times from a different phone and was on hold 45 minutes and no one answers, Tried to get support online and only got robots, went to a local verizon store and they tried but couldn't help,ended up mailing phone back, Verizon phone service is great but they have no customer service at all!

Can't activate new phone

Finally got phones activated after 3 days. Signed up for auto pay and paperless billing for discount of $10 per line and it was never applied or signed up, so bill is another more than stated. Rep couldn't help because account got locked trying to access my Verizon app. Can't sign into app to change account owner or resign up for auto pay and paperless. Never been so disappointed with a company as I have been with Verizon the last couple weeks.
