You shut my new service & new phone off because I wasn't using it . I hadn't used it yet because I was in the when I returned from the hospital I had gotten several letters in the mail stating it was going to be disconnected if not used .
It was already shut off when I got back from the hospital & opened my mail. I called in about it when I got back from the hospital & the fraud department said it was off because I owed a payment & not because I didn't use it! I never even used the phone Verizon deactivated it & STILL billed me in full! for the month!
! I PAID it in full on Friday & my phone still can only be used for emergencies! It says it's not registered with a provider!!! This makes zero sense since the lady at the fraud department said as soon as payment was received it would only be up to 24 hrs & it would be back on.
It's been well over 24hrs & still not back on! Also this phone was supposed to be free with a new service agreement!
I did not receive it for free & I am paying full price for the new S24 that the majority of ppl are getting free! I am beyond pissed on many levels at this point!

Canceling my service after four years due to the bad outsource customer service
My name is Denia Anderson and Ive been on the phone for over two hours calling all different kinds of numbers being left on hold for 45 minutes at a time trying to set up my online account and I keep getting kicked off the site and no help in that area and this has been happening for me to me for the last three months or so. Ive been having problems and my phone bill increased and I dont understand why the customer service representatives are not very nice and they hang up on me or they just dont come back to the phone and they leave you on hold and theres a bad language barrier and I need to talk to someone who speaks English to help me because I am really frustrated with this whole thing and its been happening for the last few months

Preferred solution: The Addline promo where you get a iPhone 15 Pro Max for free with a tablet and an Apple Watch to add a line I get that that it'll pay it off over 36 months like it did my iPhone 13 but I shouldn't not have to pay full price up front

Back in the middle of June I sent to a Verizon cellular store to get a newer phone. My phone was over 6 yrs old.
The salesman had sit down at his desk & discuss what I needed. On his advice I bought the galaxy S22 ultra. He took my old phone with the new one & transferred my information from old to new. While that was happening he sat back down & told me I was entitled to a $200 gift card & would I like to use some of it to pay the $106 I owed at that time.
I said no, I'll just take the whole $200 gift card. I waited around 2 months for it & it never. Called the store they told me the salesman no longer worked there & contact Verizon customer service. They had talking with several associates over the past 4 months.
I never got my gift card. I never was able to get a supervisor to talk with, because I knew they could of solved this situation. As soon as my phone is paid off I'll probably leave Verizon cellular.
At least Verizon FiOS gives it customers the gift cards they promised them. They don't give them a run around.

I never heard a word from Verizon. After contacting them multiple times about being over charged hundreds of dollars. They would rather ignore me than to do the right thing.
I gave up! After 20 months of attempting to get my bill corrected, I chose to leave and go to T Mobile.
No longer will my bill be increased randomly (from $180 a month to $245 a month in 20 months). No, I did not get any help or refund for the $2000 extra that I was charged over the period, but boy, do I feel better not being tied to them anymore.

regardless of the situation you do need to pay the bills , so the discontinuation of service was a result of that not being you will need to pay the bill for service and if possibe maybe pay ahead to avoid the issue
