Dissastisfied with Verizon's overpriced service (among other things) I decided to switch back to Cricket Wireless before my monthly auto payment. Apparently they schedule your auto payments three weeks AFTER your billing cycle starts so that if you cancel service with them they can still charge you for one month of service which is what happened to me.

That's a very dishonest practice but it's worth it to be free from Verizon. I never should have switched.

Lesson learned. I'm glad to be done with Verizon Wireless and will happily trash this company to anybody who turns a conversation toward cell phones.
