I went into a Verizon store to get my tablet activated.Instead of just activating it, the representative combined my service with my wife's prepaid unlimited service, canceling hers and effectively double billing us for set up fees, etc.
The rep told me that he didn't know and couldn't tell what type of plan my wife was on because he couldn't find her in the system. It turns out that was a lie. Now Verizon says that they can't do anything about it because we didn't complain in 14 days. They didn't send us a bill for 45 days.
Once my contract is up, I am leaving Verizon - even though I will have to buy a new tablet.The service rep told me an outright lie and that is completely unacceptable.
Monetary Loss: $200.
