I have this very same situation. Told over and over again phones were free.

Got charged $840 per phone!!! I have a business I run and this is so fraudulent and such a bait and switch. I will never use Verizon again.

I was sold Verizon as a less-expensive alternative to Spectrum. Because of the outrageous deceit and misrepresentation of the Verizon rep: Ashay Waykole (862-219-****), my bill has increased by approximately $50.00 per month.

I have spent approx 8.5 hours on the phone, unsuccessfully, attempting to extricate myself from this horrible mess with Verizon. I'm contacting the State of New York and the FCC.

Did not realize where my concern was going i.e was not upset at all

Did not intend to connect through P***ed Customer service as only wanted someone to answer my questions. Am experiencing slight difficulty in projecting my voice to be understood by robots! People no problem!

It is way more difficult to get help for simple tasks than it should be. I just needed to updage a breached credit card. Still don't have that done.

There a horrible company

I've been with them for a little over a month now things were great at first cor seemed that way everyone was helpful and all that them on the I place an order on they're app for an iPhone 15 and a tablet something weird happened when I placed it some malfunction or something but it froze up for a second and went back to the financial agreement just figured it was some network connection thing the order went through my card was charged and it's been nothing but problems ever since, I've never really had an iPhone before so it was new but I figured out pretty quick it wasn't for me so I tried to return and exchange it for an s24+ that they had under the same deal I got on the iPhone they advertised hassle free return and exchange but what you get is a 50$ restocking fee that they done mention or they tell you might have to pay nah there's no might you have unless the box is still closed but that pretty much not possible because you have to open it to activate it or they open in the store when you get there then the app won't right for me anymore for some reason im not alowed to manage my account myself or anything im not up on tech so im not thinking much other than bugs or something theyll get worked any i ordered online so im trying ti return my phone but i cant my app so i have call or text custumer server things go good im told yea your all set up just go drop the phone off pick up the new so i walk to the store dude is a *** from the minute i show up acts and treats me like dirt refuses to exchange my phone dont understand why so i go home msg call custumer service and do it all over again i talk to you andcthey say oh sorry were have issues with your account let us wrk it and well get the return done so the same thing then couple same result stiill baffled as to why im gettin treated so badly the send mecto thw store again to pick my phone only now im told about the restocking fee that i dont have so he tels me he won't do it this happens again a day or so later after i askwd asked again then checked again told person I was speaking that it had to be forsure before i wentci wasctold i had nothing to worry about so i asked howcmuch i need have cash wise was told nothing at all the fees had been waved and everthing else would be on my next bill so i go again thinkin this is finally over on for the managervto becan even bigger jerk to me than last time very rude amd arrogantly acted like he could botherd i tried showin him the msgs glaced at it said i dont knw what that is it dont mean nothing to i push the issuecsome vutvthe same result at this point im irraite i spend most of day on the phone get trasferd from persom to person trying to find why and come to find outi have no finacing aggrement to the phone I still don't know what that actually means at that point but that night im looking at my receipt and it says the phone is paid in full and it finally hits they think i ripped them offi had all set to order my other phone by a diffrent department alll i had to do was pay the taxes and send this phone back with in 30 days everything would have worked out if id had the money then i go grab the money in the morning come home try to pay the order off but the msgs dont when it does start work im told the order has been canceled so now im pist i tell i know whata up i dont honest cuz i know i dont have to do or say anything I could go transfer my lines have them paid of and still have a free phone or i could take the receipt im and ask for my money back and theyd have to give i tell that just throw all out explain that im help them out even tho i dont think the deserve it i dont ask for anything else but same exchange ive been ask this hole time but im not willing to do unless i get the phone at the same time as i give them this one and a sighnd aggrement in hand thats none negotiable i trust that theyll even give me the phone afterword and tht an cant work with the phone they keep trying hard to get the phone first but im not risking lossong a job for them especially after all the lies bs they have put thru and now were at a stand still im looking into transfering over it ive got a lawyer looking it if they can come after me for anything if i do i do do

You shut my new service & new phone off because I wasn't using it . I hadn't used it yet because I was in the when I returned from the hospital I had gotten several letters in the mail stating it was going to be disconnected if not used .

It was already shut off when I got back from the hospital & opened my mail. I called in about it when I got back from the hospital & the fraud department said it was off because I owed a payment & not because I didn't use it! I never even used the phone Verizon deactivated it & STILL billed me in full! for the month!

! I PAID it in full on Friday & my phone still can only be used for emergencies! It says it's not registered with a provider!!! This makes zero sense since the lady at the fraud department said as soon as payment was received it would only be up to 24 hrs & it would be back on.

It's been well over 24hrs & still not back on! Also this phone was supposed to be free with a new service agreement!

I did not receive it for free & I am paying full price for the new S24 that the majority of ppl are getting free! I am beyond pissed on many levels at this point!

regardless of the situation you do need to pay the bills , so the discontinuation of service was a result of that not being you will need to pay the bill for service and if possibe maybe pay ahead to avoid the issue

Verizon Wireless - 20 years with Vz. Shopping for new provider.

Fed up with Verizon, After 20 years of continued service with 9 lines on my plan I find it painful to deal (in anyway) with this company whether it's the useless bots that you have to deal with for 15-20 minutes prior to speaking with an actual Human on the phone, to the coverage of your cell dropping (brand new phone) every time I enter a building in Miami thus the reason I got the new phone in the first place. But now, I have been waiting for a box to send in this faulty Home internet modem back and four different times they have not sent anything but yet charge me for not returning the item.

Well today I came unglued on Nisha, so we will see if this box makes it to the address that hasn't changed in the last ten years. Anyway I added the last however many billing cycles but there won't be much more.

So here's some Pro's...the most minimal human interaction in regards to this company if that's your thing.

Not mine but couldn't think of anything else.

So the Con's...coverage great outside but go into any type of structure and you now have the coolest paperweight around. You need help, you'll get it after you push the 8-9 prompts just to be placed on hold or give you a call back with the average wait time of 15 minutes.
