Im gainfully employed with a company that does hard scapes, and various block builds. I go in after work, rough work.

I could tell by their faces I was welcome long I was pretty grungy...hard day. I bring my old phone that I lost the sim, but still had active service for another 5 days (prepaid). I've been with them 3yrs loyally. I go in the manager is having some kind of Tupperware party but with cell phones for 5/6 other reps, cackling and all.

I wait to be help 45 min with only one person but me in the store. Finally I tell the kid I need a sim replacement and I was going to pay for the next month also, and added further that I wanted that put on my new phone( I was told the phone would work fine by Verizon reps downtown) so the kid asks his boss, and I hear the manager say "charge him $20 get it done". The kid comes over, and I speak first and say right on the front page of the web sight it say free sim replacement so you can do this and let your boss know your on top of it. He finally gets me hooked up, and his boss is motioning for him to help the next person, so I'm rushed off while we were about to call it to make sure it's fine.

I leave gotta work early, finally notice I only have internet. So I check the APN. Sure enough it's set up for internet only.

Call customer support, they say the IMEI won't work, I say could you please just fix my APN for services I paid for, he said he couldn't do that...I feel like they don't even know how close I was to buying the new moto phone with a service plan, but I wasn't shown any service, or asked if I was interested. After looking at them for 45 min...not to mention my old phone was a moto Z4Bla-blafrom now on I'll stick with plastic refill cards, that was a waste of time and my work was aggravated not being able to call direct...

User's recommendation: Ask to speak with a qualified agent.

Monetary Loss: $60.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Verizon Wireless Pros: Coverage area, Great coverage.

Verizon Wireless Cons: Cant contact company, Did not fix my caller id issue, Customer service sucks.
