Why am I always receiving phone calls from non active phone numbers always trying to sell me something.

Worst. Service. Ever

I have no service all morning. Also I am unable to get unlimited data because of where I live. I was told I received a letter that said they would buy me out of my contract and let me switch providers. I never received a letter and apparently missed the cut off date to accept their deal. During this deal, they allowed me to purchase new phones without saying “hey we hate your area and you are going to get sucky service”. Therefore I have to wait until I can get my phones paid off in order to switch providers. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of. I spoke with a customer representative for verizon last week who was in shock I could not get unlimited data because of my address. I will switch providers and encourage everyone I know to switch as well.

Worst service

I was with other carrier. I switch my phone number with Verizon and that is the worst experience in my life. They didn’t provide me network service one day my phone was not work in my work place. I called so many time to Verizon. They didn’t solve my problem. They ripped me off. They charge me too much money for nothing bcoz they didn’t provide me service and they pushed me to buy network extender. They charge me $370 . They said they don’t guaranatee inside the home or office. I can’t stay outside for using Verizon service. Now I switch to Tmobile. My phone working good inside and outside.Now they sent me bill $936.00. I trade in my phone $450 and $200 gift card $1100 was device out of $650 so my bill be $450. Not this much. They are scammers.

Can't get CALLER ID Reprogrammed

after 7 years with MetroPCS I left the company. MetroPCS upgraded their caller ID system. when Metro upgraded their caller ID system my name for my phone number changed to a different name. after three weeks Metro couldn't fix my problem and I was losing business calls so I went to Verizon Wireless to get a phone number ported over and a new phone. after paying for a new phone and activating Verizon prepaid wireless again my phone showed up with my number and the same name which was wrong as Metro had. the representative in the store called network operations and customer service and requested the name change be done and I was told 24 to 48 hours that would be taken care of. after three more trips to their store and 5 calls. I called a client and lost a job because she did not recognize the name and wouldn't answer she then called my boss and said I never called her and she gave her $22,000 job to another company I lost commission my company lost money and I almost got fired. if Verizon can't fix this after 8 days, then they need to hire new Tech support people to reprogram their switch with the proper Caller ID Name. Worst Customer Service and Network support team other than Metro, who takes first prize in poor customer care. If I change my phone number, I have to call over 130 people, not possible! Verizon needs to add my name connect to my phone number NOW. If I lose my job because of my clients not answering my calls and taking their business elsewhere, I may hire an Attorney to handle both Verizon and Metro.

GM, Josh lacking customer service skills

I have witnessed him being disrespectful and rude to 3 different customers. He started to be rude to me until i told him to his face his customer service skills suck and he needs to stop the attitude. I feel like he hates his job and working with the public causing him to take it out on everyone that comes into the store. I also didnt appreciate his loud mouth on the phone talking badly about another coworker. Just because the coworker does a better job and everyone asks for him.

The Worst Ever

I wanted to get a cell phone for me and my two boys, and since they had two prepays i decided i would get me a new phone, and them two sim cards.....3 phones one plan. Nope, not these idiots....two accounts, the sim cards didn't work for the phones even thou i told them what company they were from, and then when i went and sent them back i told them to cancel the account and make the balance zero as they had gotten the sim cards back. So instead they bill me 218.00 which i refuse to pay, as i know longer have the sim cards, they have them. And now it is collections, and i am disputing. Then i was told i could make 20.00 a month payments on the Iphone 8 that i had got, instead i get a bill for 800.00 and the current bill. So i sold the phone and now it is in collections, i sold the phone to pay on the damn bill. I hate Verizon. So fake.

Need more class action lawsuits. Forced to take them to small claims court

Verizon never credited my refund for a failed DSL service installation. It is impossible to reach anyone competent in their organization to get billing issues resolved (their phone system seems to be programmed to hang up on you after 40 minutes of hold time) They put me into collections and destroyed my 840 credit score. I am suing them for the maximum amount for damages

Tech support - NOT

3 people on the phone for tech support could not help me after 3 hours and 3 phone calls. I went into the store and thankfully they were able to help, but sadly the salespeople do not get paid for tech support. So, if you need help, go to the store and waste their time rather than yours.

verizon gives greedy, poor service a new standard for other companies to try and meet. after trying for an hour or so to pay the balance that i owed after purchaseing an i-phone, useing the web site and phone menu to no avail, i called their operator and guess what folks? they charge seven bucks per call to help their clients! i guess the ceo needs to upgrade his yacht.

Ripped Off

I bought a flip phone more than 10 years ago and contracted with Verizon for cell service. At the time, the salesperson sold me a Data Plan, costing about $30+ per month. My flip phone only has a 1.25" screen. I didn't know I did not need the Data Plan in order to send texts and forward photos to my email. Using just simple math, I have paid over $3,600 - and probably closer to $5,000 (since I don't know the exact purchase date) for service I didn't need and never used. Today I removed the Data Plan from my phone and they gave me a whopping $20 credit for the unused data. Wow. Obviously, their system has been telling them for the past 10 years that I haven't used ANY of the data, and some sort of customer service contact would have been appropriate. When I can afford a smartphone, it obviously won't be with Verizon service. And, by the way, the Updates screen at Verizonwireless.com for my account indicated that I had 97% of my data plan remaining. If I haven't used ANY of my data in 10 years, how could I only have 97% remaining for the month? Sounds to me like they're stealing from people a very small amount at a time. Is it the FCC that regulates these people? Maybe they're the next entity I should contact.

OVERPRICED CRAP SERVICE!

I have been with Verizon for years because my mother-in-laws home is remote and there are not many options for cell service there. But the problem is I live in Salt Lake City and they claim to have solid 4G LTE coverage for my area. In the past I would say that was true but these past few months the service has been getting incredibly unreliable with dropping calls to no data connection available. I tried calling support multiple times and they always pointed to my device being the issue and had me jump through multiple hoops to fix it. Nothing worked so I went and got a new S10+ and still having the issues as well as my wifes line. It is starting to look like it is their signal, but they claim all the towers are performing like they should. Has anyone really checked them or are they being lazy. Seriously time to look for another wireless carrier since these guys obviously do not care about fixing this issue.

Bad customer service

Bought a new phone, the rep told me to take it home and set it up. I followed direction but could not get it to activate. Drove all the way back 2 days later( 30 miles) was told it wasn’t my fault, he forgot to change something! Then my emails didn’t transfer, drove back again! Was told to call customer service by a snarky young man. Was on hold half hour. Finally walked back in store and demanded help from a nice young gal. The fix was as simple as reentering my password! I’m to old for this type of serve Verizon!

The customer service is awful after the purchase is made! I spend $1700 on 2 phones and accessories. My screen protector that was sold by Verizon and installed at Verizon and it’s cracked and I get cut, went to Verizon and left disappointed as like I said! CUSTOMER SERVICE STOPS AFTER THE SALE!! Two stores, Two lies

A Verizon Store in Cornelia Ga Forged my initials on a contract back in 2016. A 2nd Verizon store had me sign what I thought was a $82.00 credit charge but was also a $625.00 finance for 24 mos, in Quarryville Pa in 2019. It looks like the company allows their stores to get away with murder while they sit back and do nothing about it.
