Waiting on hold to get a representative

Waited on the hold for a LIVE representative for over an hour! So so BAD. Like everyone here, it's worse than bad.

Sadly deteriorated service; unfair billing

I was a VZW customer for many years, paying for several devices on my account. The coverage and customer service was outstanding until recent years. There were incremental lapses: loss of signal in a very busy business district; automated chat giving irrelevant answers and replacing real persons; very long wait times for customer service. The last straw was when they started to throttle down the speed on my “Unlimited” Plan so often and so severely that web pages would time out before loading. This became dangerous, when I was lost when walking in an unfamiliar city, and I could not load a map page, even though signal signal strength was at 4 bars. While traveling in Mexico this also happened often while my companion (with T- Mobile) did not encounter the extreme throttling. 6 weeks ago I cancelled my service and switched to T-Mobile (at a lower cost for a similar plan). A few days ago I received a “late payment” bill from Verizon. After 15 minutes on hold, I learned that when I closed my mobile phone account, they did not cancel the linked iPad, and the charge was $79 which they refused to waive, even though they had not informed me that the linked iPad would stay active, or that the cost went up from $10 for a linked device, up to $79 for the iPad alone. So sad to experience the decline in service, and very upsetting and aggravating that I paid almost $80 for nothing. Wtf

Great DesertService from Verizon Wireless, Uzziel Meneses, Palm Desert, Ca. 34460 Monterey Ave, suite 105.

Been a Verizon Customer over 24 years. Stopped in early this AM to get a new phone holster and screen saver. Luckily Uzziel asked if I needed some help. I sure did. My current phone could have been exchanged almost two years ago but I never thought it was necessary, as I liked my Galaxy S6. With the need of replacement parts, I thought that it may finally be time to get a different new phone. Uzziel new his products, he new customer service, and he offered me many tips on phone usage. Even told me I could call him from Kansas City, any time I needed a question answered. He should be the head trainer in the Palm Desert area as to how to treat the customer. Great job Uzziel, and thanks for all you help. Mike Mathieu.

Horrible wi-fi

Ever since I bought this Iphonex andaid fr a “premium “ plan , I have complained to Verizon About their horrible service multiple calls multiple tech-support waste of time and all they could tell me was to spend more money and upgrade my service well I paid the extra money and the service did not get any better I am frustrated and pissed if I didn’t have to pay off this phone I would’ve dropped Verizon along time ago now I had to go out and spend an extra $90 a month to get an AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot about the horrible service multiple calls multiple tech-support waste of time but all they could tell me was to spend more money and upgrade my service well I paid the extra money in the service did not get any better I am frustrated and pissed if I didn’t have to pay off this phone I would’ve dropped Verizon along time ago now I had to go out and spend an extra $90 a month to get an AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot So I could have dependable Wi-Fi for Verizon Has given me no satisfaction they are such a rip off telling me the only solution was to pay for more expensive plan that is ***

Worst Experience Ever

I needed tow service and no contractors were available. Told to contact one and file for reimbursement which should take a couple of weeks. 2 months later still waiting on repayment. Would not recommend this company even if the service was free. No one should experience incompetence from everyone contacted. Buyer beware!

Their website SUCKS!!

Their website SUCKS!! Always have issues logging in. Login I have written down near works...go to rest PW and it asks my "secret question" which I also have written down...comes back and says that's incorrect...then locks me out and I have to call. Then I get BS excuses and have to start ALL OVER with total new log in info. I am switching carriers after 18 years. Fed up! Their website is more difficult to get into than my financial institutions web sites!!

Verizon is second cousin to Satan. They even have the same company color.

What is their stupid committee designed name even supposed to mean ?

Gives you no idea what they do or don't do. Miserable overly expensive company for whom I've developed an obvious distaste.

Return phone recived at verizon never credited my account

Dealing with same situation. Returned phone in early August . They said they received it after first text message saying didn't receive it. Then they said they got it and I didn't shut off find your iPhone properly (walked through it with Verizon tech hotline before I sent it back in there pre paid packaging slip?) Then they said they were able to do it. They advised to give it 2 or 3 months and they would credit my account that was August 2018 .Called yesterday (Jan 10 2019) after realizing they never credited my account the $300 + for return. After explaining to 3 different folks (all very nice) advised no record of receiving it ? Advised would investigate and get back to me in 3 or 5 days. After reading here not looking good. If they do not credit I will cancel and move on to another wireless provider. Just not good business and will never deal with Verizon wireless ever again. I keep the faith they will do the right thing and credit account for there human oversight. Thanks P Drohan

Why does Verizon pursue such an aggravating strategy?

Retired and shutting down most of the Verizon wireless services. Spent an hour yesterday getting them to shut down most of my business services. They finally agreed to do it and sent me an email showing that in truth, nothing had changed and no services had been shut down and that my next bill would be "as usual". Called again today and was told the conversation yesterday, while inaccurate and misrepresenting what would happen, wouldn't/couldn't be changed; years of overcharges for services that I had not authorized could not be reversed; and the information I was given was only a summary or an estimate; charges for the next bill would not be finalized until the end of the billing cycle; and that they couldn't really do anything for me. Also, it is entirely up to me to catch any errors by Verizon. If I had treated my customers like this, I would not have been in business. After raising my voice repeatedly, I got a commitment from Chandra that my next bill would be just $24.66. We will see if they are true to their word.

As I was accessing Voice Mail a message suddenly came on informing me that "I was no longer connected to Voice Mail, call Verizon Assistant". As I followed further instructions it was suggested that I contact them through e-mail. I found the correct site and the screen sent me to another site which gave a phone number to call. After calling and hearing blah, blah, etc. They sent a temp code(?) I waited to see my temp code. It was not there. I checked e-mail, it was not there. All the while I am being told "You have two minutes", "You have one minute" (that's two minutes right?) I could not find this temp code. I then heard "You have one minute". (That's now three minutes right?) I finally hung up and tried online again. Nothing....I am now looking at TracFone so I can plan my own usage when I need it instead of $55 to $185 bills for their "service". It's frightening to think that a phone provider cannot be reached by computer or by PHONE!!

Worst Customer !!!

Verizon has the worst customer service I've ever experienced! My daughter had an account with them and they are totally screwing her over!!!! I have AT&T and have never been treated they way Verizon is treating my daughter! I actually considering switching from AT&T to Verizon until I heard what they are doing to my daughter! I will NEVER use Verizon and I will make sure to tell ALL my family and friends to say away from them! She was crying on the phone with a Manager and he was laughing at her! VERY unprofessional!

Verizon Wireless is no bueno.

Pretty much hands down the worst service I've ever received. I'm at the Verizon Store in Rocklin, Ca. It's the a peak time of the consumer season in a busy area of commerce, n this store has one employee on duty. Do come here. Switch carriers.

they charge a 35 set up fee and don't tell you the corporate store do not they charge a 30 activation fee

Tired of this company

Your company claims to be the best network, but I have not had service all day. I have family that has metro PCS and they aren't having any issues. Well have nothing to keep me with your company so I will be leaving you for a lower bill and where I don't have to pay a arm and leg to get a new phone. You may have been the best at one time but not anymore. You treat your customers and employees like *** I hope you go down.

Verizon scamming customers

Verizon scammed a friend paying my cell phone bill. She attempted through automated payment service for Verizon. Her credit card number was taken by Verizon. They forced hee on their sytem and booted her to buying additional data. I conference called Verizon with my friend and was given a horrible run around. Verizon store employee lied to my friend and told her this one procedure would clear it up. I go a store ,and the employee called the store where my friend went to,and i was told that Verizon was holding $20 for late charges. They wanted $20 more dollars. My friend caved in to their extortion. They are stealing money left and right from customers. FTC and FCC are going after them for falsifying information including about their plans for 5G.
