No refund/phone ported number cannot get back

Ordered phone 12/6/14. Phone sent to Chesapeake, VA instead of Richmond, VA after (4) times no phone and even went to the Verizon Store [ never rec'd a call back from Store Rep. Saleh after leaving to voice mails. Cancelled phone on 12/19/14 and that refund would take 10 plus days. Was told today that my refund should be refunded in 24 hours and an email would be sent today so I could have a contact person, received no email. Tried to port my old Ntelos cell number from Verizon and they seem to be holding that hostage as well.

Buy a Samsung phone...have a warranty issue!? Samsung will acknowledge that they>>cover NO, ZERO, NADA..any warranty issue!! Its always a Verizon problem and or Essurion Insurance issue.. Well, you guessed it NO help there either. Pay for insurance, right (good faith) laugh so hard... Essurion says warranty problem....Samsung says, NEVER PROBLEMS with our phones, you must have done something to the phone. NO help!!!! YOU KNOW WHEN VERIZON LYING to you...THERE TALKING!!! I have a Verizon Wireless phone OK.I have never had a problem returning any phone that had a defect.All thought I have only returned one phone to Verizon,I received my new phone proto.Their must be another problem that you are not sharing with us.

Lost my returned phone

I ordered two phones from Verizon and within 3 days after receipt we decided not to take use the second line. I called verizon which told me to take the phone to the nearest verizon dealer. We did not have one in our town. I told them and they said they would mail me a label and I would return the phone. Also, as I contacted them, they informed me that they will suspend my second line.It has been two months of phone calls and they still have not received my phone. They have also been charging me for the second line. I have called and called and finally have decided to cancel my plan and take it to the Better Business Bureau. It is unfair that such a huge company can rip people off this way and get away with it. I now owe them $700 for cancelling and charges for the phone, which I paid for upfront. Will be cancelling my service and never using them again.

Worst cell phone company! No Integrity!

Called company regarding an upgrade and was quoted a price. Told the customer service rep to call the next day because I was not promised to speak with him if I called the same number at another time. He did not return my call so I called back. No one could tell me why the price increased doubled (close to tripled) from my conversation with the 1st rep who did not return my call. They were rude and kept passing me around to several individuals when I kept asking to speak with a manager. Verizon has the monopoly on cell phone service and they don't care anything about your concerns or needs once they lure you into their contract. Stay away!!!

Overcharge on bill for internet

I do not use my computer that often. I have a 10 gigabyte plan I use about 2 on average all of a sudden I get charged for 50 gigabytes over $700.00 over my normal $133.00 they claim someone hacked my WIFI I still have to pay Verizon will not send someone to check Their system One of their techs said the WIFI was bad one said I could not have used all those gigabytes To avail I still must pay I have no luck with any of them getting jerked around spent many Hours trying to get solved with no luck I SAY STAY AWAY FROM THIS *** POOR AT BEST PIECE COMPANY

Supervisor that I had s/w & told me a plain out lie, hid from me for over 3 weeks! In another supervisors words "he hid behind a tree to avoid me!" One rep will tell you one thing, then another rep tells you something totally different ON EVERY CALL! My Grandson is in the military & Verizon would not let him take over his phone off my acct until phone was paid for, so I paid it! Now, Verizon says he has to wait 30 days to do that after that pymt! So he's w/o a phone thanks to Liars!

Verizon Wireless - Mobile Hotspot Review from Pinehurst, North Carolina

After more than 25 years as a Verizon mobile phone customer, I made the mistake of switching to their internet service. Huge mistake. And now, after dealing with outright liners in their customer service department, I am done with Verizon all together. I was promised a replacement Jetpack modem would be overnighted to me via FedEx five days ago. Now I've learned the unit was sent USPS snail-mail. Meanwhile, I'm without internet service for almost a week (six days) in an office that depends on internet connection. Thanks, Verizon. I'll find another carrier - one whose representatives don't lie.

Even after switching carriers, verizon is still capable of screwing with you.

I switched my phones to another carrier. Verizon wireless automatically deleted my account on their website. After a couple of weeks, they sent me an email notification that my final bill was ready for payment and suggested that I view it online. The only problem is, they already had deleted my account so I could not view it online. I spent quite some time in their horrible phone menu system trying to reach someone at Verizon, but their system had already deleted my account and therefore my phone number (which was switch to another carrier) was no longer in their system so I could not get past square one. I was finally was able to contact someone only by pretending that I wanted to purchase a new phone, and then getting them to transfer me to customer service. After explaining the problem to the customer service representative, they wanted to charge me $5 for a "reprint" of my bill, even though I had no way to view it online. After much negotiation, I was able to get them to "graciously" sent me a paper copy of the bill, since I explained that I was not about to pay without seeing a copy of the bill. So, you see, they can even screw with you after you cancel your service.

We my son and i visit the verizon store on greenbrair pkwy. Cheaspeake va.to renew our phone contract . the salesman sold us a plan that he said gave us the new droid turbo for free . we could not beleive our ears .we asked again and again as the contract was being set up . We found out now on our first bill THAT WAS A LIE !! These sales people work on commision. Go figure . I called and made a complaint ( i had the salesmen card so i was able to give his name ) Trouble is ,ive talked to 3 people at work That said they had a similar incident at the same Verizon store and the salesman had lied about the plan they were getting. Worst phone network ever!

last month I upgraded my phone from iPhone 4s with unlimited data plan to iPhone 6 but somehow i had no longer unlimited data plan with iPhone 6 and nobody inform me about the change in my plan and instead they kept charging anytime data exceeds the limit .Now i am stuck with the worst network as i had two year contract with Verizon and the customer service is horrible they kept me on phone for like an hour hoping they could put me back on previous plan I had(unlimited data plan) but nothing great happened. In my recommendation please don't go with Verizon. Worst I ever had!

BUYER BEWARE 1. If you mail anything back to them make sure to use your own Fed ex and get direct signature 2. If the rep cant help you, don't bother waiting for a supervisor, they wont come on the phone. They will put you on hold after hold, then get you another rep, and repeat until you go away. And hopefully they have you by the balls enough to take your issue with you and not come back. 3. if the rep states they are helping you or going to do something on your account, or verifying something on your account- ask that rep to document it in your customer notes. THEN FOLLOW UP and call back. Ask the next rep to read your customer notes. 9/10 times the notes will not be documented. Meaning next time you call they will have no data and blame you and make you out to be a liar. Been a customer since 2003. Returned a warranty phone same week the replacement phone came in. Called to verify the phone was received and was confirmed by Verizon Rep. Month later I get a bill for $549.99. After a lot of hassle, I speak to what I am told is the manager (next rep says it was just another Rep), he states he is fixing everything and gives me a ticket number to confirm he is doing as he states. He tells me to give it one month for the money to be refunded, and until then he will place this charge on hold so it doesn't disrupt my account. Month later $549.99 is still showing up on my account and now shows as a late payment. I Called again, get the run around, put on numerous holds. No one can do anything. Won't get me a supervisor no matter how nice I am trying to be. They tell me a few times, One will Call back. Doesn't. I come up with a solution (not any of the reps) I ask if I can just give back the replacement to get that credit off my bill. I'm told yes. I ask to document this statement, but at this time I know their game, its a 50/50 it is documented. I go to Verizon store and hand in my phone and ask the manager to write me a note stating proof I gave her the phone. All good, nope. Even after doing that they still wont take the fee off my bill. I couldn't get a available upgrade I had, and instead they want me to wait another 75+ days to get this resolved. Meanwhile I have no phone now, my bill shows an over payment even though I sent them back 2 phones now, 1 phone I directly hand delivered to Verizon. There is no question there of that phone being returned. I cant get on my account to change my plan because of this over due payment. They have held me hostage. Just a horrible company. This has been over 75 days now. Talking to multiple Reps. I dealt with the same behavior pattern the whole time. This is telling me its coming from the top. BUYER BEWARE!

Refund the $549.99 you have 2 phones- Cancel contract and waive all the cancellation fees- I tried to resolve numerous times and was never given the opportunity to speak to a Supervisor to help.

Customer service at Verizon wireless is second rate.

I bought a new prepaid Verizon phone, and was very excited about my upgrade until I had to activate. In fact I'm still waiting to activate. For one it the phone does not have a good connection and the first representative I talked was breaking up. I did not get far with her because I needed some information about my existing phone that I wanted to get before proceeding further. If I could have known this before I called it would have been alot easier. Then the phone kept saying it could not get a connection so I went on Verizone to try to register on-line that would not process either, after an hour or so of searching I finally found a number I could call. It is very hard to find the information you need on verizons website unless you are already a customer. Finally I talked to a person and he seemed helpful and said it would probable take and hour for my old number to transfer. He said they would contact me when it was done. I went all night without a phone. The next day I called to check on the status and they transferred my to Straight Talk, my old carrier, which I thought was bizarre. I was on hold 20 minutes just to find out that they could not help me. Then I had to call Verizon back this next guy was even less helpful. He tried taking all my information again and said I didn't have a valid address, which is crazy because my boyfriend has verizon phone and we have Fios. He wouldnt let me explain the situation, I kept asking why do you need all of this information again. I really dont think they keep good records of peoples calls. Then he was going to take my phone MEID again and I told him I was done and hung up, not worth continuing on with someone so lost to begin with. So i'm still waiting for that call back.
