Disappearing account

Before being inflicted with Verizon my company was a long standing customer with Alltell. Due to the buy out we got moved over to a Verizon account. Now I will say we did have minor problems with coverage area with Alltell but no better or worse than what we have with Verizon..... With the exception that now, on occasion we don't have an account with Verizon. I'll grab my phone to make a call and I get a voice screaming in my ear "Your account can not be verified...." it goes on with some codes after that. So then I have to restart my phone, if I'm in the right area it will work, if not... Well, I guess I don't have an account. Calls to Verizon got us "Oh your using Alltell phones we need to change you to Verizon phones...." So 30 new phones are purchased... Same problem. Call Verizon "The code the recording is giving isn't one of ours. We need you to press* something something to send a trace call." Ok, try that. Same error message. Dozens of calls. Multiple tickets opened. All there best tecs looking into the problem and there is never a problem found. But we still don't have an account at random times. Where the real problem comes in is that we are on the road doing service work and when this happens we can't get calls, we can't make calls, voice mail will not show on the phone until you get a new voice mail or text. I got to the point after many calls I made one last call, "You win. I accept my phone will just stop working. And there is nothing the combined brain power of Verizon can do. But what I can do is tell every person I can that Verizon sucks.

Great phone service lousey customer service

Recently I lost my cell phone and had to get a replacement, only Verizon doesn't call it a replacement,One, they don't have the same exact cell phone which is what I wanted, so two any type I would choose is defined by them as an "upgrade" and thus they charge an upgrade fee of 30.00, and unless you want to pay an inflated full retail price for the cell phone you have to sign a 2 year contract. I am the first to say that I like their phone service I have no complaint there for it is great, however all of that is wiped out by their customer service which doesn't matter if you are dealing store personnel , on line or by phone.I will probably change companies just for this reason.

Verizon has no compassion!

I recently found out that I have an incurable form of cancer. I had to retire early which means that my income has drastically dropped. We are trying to find ways to cut our bills so we called Verizon and asked them if we could decrease our service on our cell phones. They refused to help us with this matter and showed no compassion at all and was actually rude. I'm hoping that I'll last until February so I can personally take the phones in and tell them where they can put them. By the way, it's not in the recycle bin....wait, now that I think about it I guess it is the recycle bin.

Jurking me around

I have been with Verizon wireless for over 5 years now. I went to get a upgrade back in August last year. I had two phones on my contrast and they said only one was due for the upgrade and it was not mine but that I could switch the upgrade and get the other one in a couple of months. That was about 8 months ago. Now they won't let me upgrade or cancel the other phone without extending my contract. If I cancel the other phone they say they will charge me over 200.00$. The other phone is about 3 years old and has stopped working.

Nothing Is FREE!!!

Dear Daniel Mead, President & Louis Sigillo, Vice President of Customer Service: I am writing to inform you about my dissatisfaction with Verizon Wireless and I would appreciate your response and further action. In July 2011, I called Customer Service to inform them that I was not able to download my picture texts; although this had been happening since Nov of 2011, I was not compelled to complain until I could not receive texts my sister sent- she had just had a baby. In response, I was informed by your Customer Service team that I would receive a free phone that has the capability of downloading big files. I did receive a phone in the mail- that was used and malfunctioning- to which I was again, disappointed. I called Customer Service again, and they sent yet another phone, which still does not download picture messages nor allow me to send them. I did send both my old phone and the 'replacement' damaged phone back- yet I was charged $299 on my bill for the phone I kept. After speaking with Customer Service again, I was informed that although I was told that the phone would be free, my contract states that if anything is wrong with my phone, the replacement will be charged. First- I do not want a $299 replacement. If i wanted to pay for a replacement, I would have paid the $75 my insurance charges me for a replacement. The Customer Service man did not tell me I would be charged "If" my current phone was cracked. It was a minor crack that I could live with and did not affect my usage. I would have gladly kept my phone and would have preferred for your team to actually fix the problem I was initially bringing to their attention- which is my second point... Second- The phone still does not download pictures, nor does it allow me to send pictures. I expect you and your company to do one of these things: 1. Not charge me for the replacement phone, actually address and fix my downloading pictures problem and keep me a happily paying customer 2. Refund the replacement- I do not want a $299 phone 3. Drop me as a customer with no early contract charges This deceptive practice is unethical and I intend to dispute it.

CESAR SALIS and Gulfgate Verizon Wireless

Manager Cesar Salis at the Gulfgate Verizon Wireless in Houston Texas in a phone conversation with me in regards to issue of sales clerk Racquel Mosqueda misplacing my son's cell phone after she determined that the new Iphone he had was defective. She ordered a new phone to be delivered overnight, which did happen, then she forgot to give him his phone back. I have been a customer of this phone company for 18 years and CESAR SALIS, Manager told me that his sales clerk is too thorough in her work to make a mistake and that "your son probable sold the phone". I informed CESAR SALIS that we are all capable of making mistakes and that as a nurse I try hard to be diligent in my caregiving however, we see in the media daily of lives lost in the healthcare setting due to caregiver mistakes. Now, the phone we returned was defective, however Verizon is making me pay for a new phone to replace the one the sales clerk lost.

Retired/Crappy Service

I recently switched from Verizon Wireless to Sprint. BIIGG mistake. Trying save a little money but the service is so bad I am thinking of contacting Verizon to see if they will buy out my contract in exchange for commercials. The unlimted plan is useless if you can't ever connect. I hardly ever have more than one or two bars a more dropped calls in 2 months with sprint than 10 yrs with Verizon. Messages sometimes are day or so late. So if you are thinking of switching to sprint better think again especially if you are with Verizon. I can't speak for other services. You get what you pay for. If it's free it's probably not worth anything to begin with.

Tcc Verizon Wireless Employee Breaks the Rules

I live in Muskegon and their use to be an "Authorized Resale Verizon Wireless Company" named Tcc Verizon Wireless. I signed onto a Verizon 2year agreement through them in October 2010, and I gota basic phone and my sister got a smartphone. She is the primary account holder. The employee that signed us in is sort of my sisters friend. So later on in February 2011 she decided that she didn't want her blackberry anymore so she went to her friend and tried to see if she like get a deal on a new phone. Mind you I had no idea she was doing anything with our account. So he tricked her into thinking he cut her a deal by canceling our account and starting up a new account with the same plan. And a new 2 year agreement!!. Well we started getting bills about a deactivation fee, and a full priced phone. My sister got it figured out somehow, I have no clue how. But now its August 2012. Here I am thinking my contract is up and I can get an early upgrade. I went to Verizon and they told me my contract isn't up until February! I know for a fact I signed the contract for my phone in the fall of 2010. They are telling me that they have no control over it?? Because Tcc Verizon is a completely different company?? What the heck! They are telling me that I can't upgrade until October and I have to stay until February! FIRST I thought I got an upgrade every 2 YEARS of my phone! I bought the phone 2 years ago. I should be eligible for an upgrade regardless if the ignorant and careless employee of Tcc Verizon ILLEGALLY signed on to another contact for me and my sister. I'm just saying if Verizon Wireless can't keep track Of ALL it's phones, and authorized resellers they shouldnt even have the resellers in the first place. This is illegal and I can't do anything about it. I am one pissed consumer.

Nobody tricked anybody into ***, I bet you kept the phone. So you want your cake and eat it too.

Actions has consequences, everything on Verizon has to be signed.

If your friend screwed you it's called identity theft.

Take responsibility for your action or sue your friend for damages.

Verizon Wireless - Bad Tech support worse customer Service

I am so beyond pissed off. I called customer support due to issue with my 6 week old phone. I was told I would have to do a factory reboot. The tech stated I would lose my apps but my contacts and pictures would be fine. She walked me through and I did as she said. Upon reset my photos were GONE. I called tech support back and was asked if I left my SD card in phone while it was rebooted. I told her yes and explained I was never told not to take it out. As carefree as possible she said "oh, yeah if you left it in then your photos were erased". I demanded to speak to supervisor who basically said same thing - too bad so sad. We had just gotten back from a family vacation and had a bunch of pics on my phone. I asked to file a complaint against the tech who did the reboot and was told the most I could do was give feedback on service. I asked for corporate number and she said she didn't have it, only an address in Georgia. I found the corporate number on my own and called. I spoke with a nice lady but was shocked they could offer me no solution for this nor any compensation. I now have no family pics from our costa rica trip AND I am stuck with a piece of junk phone that I can not get to work well but am scared to call tec support b/c they obviously know NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And both myself and my husband have been loyal verizon customers for almost 15 yrs.

Verizon loses out to CREDO

Cellular phone service had been a problem for me. I had Verizon for years but became fed up with their politics that cause consumers to be the losers. I switched to CREDO, a much more progressive company, and am very pleased with their service and politics. They actually care about their customers, give great service and actually warn you when you're exceeding limits. While traveling with my partner who still has Verizon, my CREDO service was available more than his! He plans to change to CREDO, too. For those who are tired of consumers getting soaked, I suggest you may want to look at CREDO because they support people who want to create a better economic environment for all Americans.

I was told my Credo plan was going to cost $60 a month and I wanted to get away from Verizon high costs. My Credo costs $102 a month, the service sucks, and the connection blows. Credo sucks just like Verizon, but at least with Verizon I had a connection.

Nothing to hide BUT WHAT I DO KNOW is that if the Highest Court in the World, The Supreme Court, will not even LOOK at evidence of a crime committed by someone in a VERY HIGH POLITICAL POSITION This means that there is NO justice in a US court of Law ONLY LAW. Verizon wireless sucks the big one

the rudest incompitant buch of loser ..after reading all the complants about verizon i expereanced it myself...after getting the run around from customer service i spoke with the supervisor..he was the ruddest *** i ever ever talked to...they need to remember they need us...we dont need them...they lie and lie and lie...the 190.00 fee to cancel the contract will be the best money i ever spent..i will spread the word about verizon and what a bunch of *** they are..at&t wil get my money now....there a hundred times better

Overcharges!

I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for 4 years always and I do mean every single time I have always paid my bill in full before the due date! I recently added another line to my account and changed over to their share everything plan..what I wasn't told when I called on the very first day of my new billing cycle mind you was that I would be charged over a $100 in advance making my bill come to almost 600$ then I talk to a rep for over an hour (on hold for half an hour) and she comes back and says sorry nothing we can do! I ask to speak to a supervisor and suddenly none are there!? Really? Where is the one you were just talking to!!!! She claims a supervisor will contact me in the morning, I guess we will see what happens. All I know is that if they don't fix this I will cancel my account and take them to small claims court or whatever I have to do, but they will not get a single dime of my hard earned money ever again if they don't fix this!

VerizonWireless could care less

I spent considerable time on the phone during two calls with them and followed-up with email requesting complete instructions in writing to avoid miscommunication and make sure they'd set me up so my cell would work when I got to Europe for my vacation. So, with my arrival delay disrupting my planned meeting at my apartment rental I was stranded alone at 10 pm in a neighborhood I didn't know, no way to make a call no knowledge of the transit available, and nowhere to go. Finally made it back to the center of Rome and found a hotel room around midnight at considerable added expense. They have yet to acknowledge their inexcusable and incompetent handling of this or apologize for my extremely stressful experience and potentially dangerous predicament. It took them 5 days and my sending them two more emails before they finally sent me the info I needed to make my phone work. Their excuse for all this -- they were busy!! When I now call to vent and tell them they owe me for what they've put me through, they told me I'd have to wait for a supervisor to call me back in 24-48 hours. The arrogance and incompetence that all this displays makes it very unlikely that I'd EVER do business with them again. I've never been blown off like this! If you think this is acceptable customer care, then this is the company for you!

What exactly did they not send you ? I Know you must have a global device 2 activate the sim card 3 the instructions to use the phone are on the vzw website .

Verizon Wireless MIFI

I was completely misled about the mobile hot spot. I purchased the plan with unlimited internet. My first bill came and it was $2000. There answer to this was oh well you should have read the fine print. And that was there exact words. I feel like I have been royally screwed by this huge company. So now this is on my credit and I am fighting. I will not pay. Be careful. Very careful. It is very hard to fight such a big company but I sure am going to keep on going. They will have to take me to court and sew me. Actually that is what I want that way I can win. I have all the phone conversations and everything.
