Its been 4 months. Phone was to be shut off in April. Its now august & verizon is charging me for the 4 months of service even though i wanted the phone shut off!!! Multiple calls to,customer service & no help now they want to,send the bill to collections WTF!!

Second time i called for a tow. Second time no one showed up by the promised time. Second time no courtesy call to tell me that the two will be late. Second scripted insincere apology. And all for three dollars a month.

After being overcharged and turned over to collections I researched and found literally infinite similar complaints in the news media and on Verizon's own website! Thousands of customers complained of overcharged and poor customer service. A careful review of these complaints on various websites including Verizon's own reveals that it is not poor customer service but Verizon's practice of racketeering. Read more

Who knew that when I moved to a rural area I would be ripped off by the company that I have used for phone service for a few years? Expensive. A cap on data. Poor service. Even worse, when I started to call about the terrible service, I speak to people who are obviously trained to say no information about the ticket is available yet. After being a biz cust for 10+ years Verizon never lets me know when there is a price change. recently i called to complain of an overcharge and their rep gave me a better deal and got my autopay set back up. the other day i got a notice my bill wasn't paid. i just spent another hour on the phone with ( ultimately ) the Verizon supervisor. If you want honesty and professionalism in dealing with Verizon Wireless retailers, the Go Wireless office at Paradise Marketplace, 3870 E. Flamingo Rd in Las Vegas Nevada is the place to go. Michael, the manager, was supportive and assisted me from trying to find my existing Verizon account (and at the time, we couldn't get it), through what I needed when ultimately, I returned the phone. He was patient, kind and supportive of my decisions.... Read more

Activated a prepaid account, @ Lakeside Shopping Center Diamond Verizon booth... Ported my number and Manager at local Verizon store basically tricked me and got into 60$ prepaid plan which took two days to activate..... many hours of standing there...Because no one was competent enough to do it properly...Realized immediately that you can not use data while on call ....making use of a smartphone on this plan a joke...I asked for a... Received several nasty phone calls and text messages from 301-223-3010 (Williamsport MD 21795) (Verizon customer) "Your ATM card has been suspended. To reactivate call urgent at 1-301-223-3010." This of course is a TOTAL SCAM. I am in California and have no problem with my ATM. I called Verizon customer service to inform them of this situation and ask that the company investigate their customer at the above number who is trying to steal identity... Read more

After trying to work with my Verizon plan for years, i finally had to give up. We were outright lied to by a sales person. The insurance they sold us for the phones covered almost nothing that the sales person had promised. The phones were cheap junk. The features did not do what was promised.
